New York City in the 80's! Throwing ceramic forms in his spare time, Ron was discovered by Angelo Donghia. Angelo bought everything in sight! Ron quit his day job to pursue ceramics full time. Finishing his pieces in 22k precious metal, he found a niche market and the rest is history…
As the 20th century came to a close, Ron returned to his roots in Southern California, setting up a studio in Laguna Beach. Exposure to rare and beautiful minerals from around the world led to a dramatic expansion in production.
Combining a life long inspiration from fine jewelry and the desire to defy gravity, these new minerals synergized a renaissance. Realizing the medium was no longer restricted to ceramics, Ron compiled a diverse team of craftsman. New lines of sculpture, lighting and furniture sprang forward.
